He is the older brother of fugitive Friar Vasquez, Jaime Vásquez Castillo, who has been denounced for managing an operator within the National Superintendency of State Assets (SBN) and with whom he would have colluded to locate people within the institution and then take away part of their salary.
According to the report presented by the Sunday “Fourth power”, Jaime Vásquez Castillo would be in collusion with Edgar León Ordóñez, who was pointed out by the former general manager of the SBN Edgar Lucio López as a close friend of the president’s nephew and who does not have professional training close to the SBNbut who was still designated in said entity.
In his statements, the former official asserted that León Ordóñez asked him for 2,000 soles a month from the salary he received for having accessed the executive position in the institution and that Vásquez Castillo was aware of this agreement. In addition, according to Lucio López, these amounts were delivered “by hand” up to five times, three of them went to León and two to Jaime Vásquez himself.
As if that were not enough, Lucio López specified for “Fourth power” that he was also asked to obtain an amount of 20,000 soles at the request of the incoming superintendent Roger Gavidia, who would also have been appointed at the request of the Vásquez Castillo operator and who would be in charge. of many other high state directorates.

For this, Edgar Lucio pointed to León Ordóñez as the “shadow superintendent”, since it is really he who would be managing the SBN and who went from being an optometrist aspiring to Congress to joining the entity under the position of technical assistant of bases of data in November 2021, receiving a salary of 5,500 soles, an amount that was not enough.
Three months later, in February of this year, Edgar León was hired as an advisor to the finance area for an amount of 35,000 soles and the following month a third order of service was processed as an advisor to senior management for an amount equal to that of the month. previous.
The complainant Edgar Lucio López has shown his willingness to corroborate the serious accusations that now weigh on the eldest of the Vásquez Castillo nephews before the Prosecutor’s Office, while Gavidia has tried to get a lawyer and León Ordóñez remains untraceable.
