Neighbors of Santa Fe Norte, Baruta municipality (Miranda), expressed concern about the abrupt closure of the service station located on José María Vargas avenue.
“That station has not opened for six months, there is talk of a debt with PDVSA,” commented a resident of the sector who contacted the newsroom and pointed out that such a situation has been discussed in the community.
Apparently, PDVSA managers gave instructions to the owners of gas stations in the capital to make the weekly payment in cash, without receiving invoices for that payment in return. But, supposedly the situation was detected in December of last year because that money was not entering the State.
For each truck, the gas stations had to cancel $16,500, which added up to $82,500 each month, according to calculations.
