After the renovation of the 106 sections that make up the National Union of Health Workers (SNTSA), began the process for the election of the national leader, which is carried out under the new guidelines established by the labour reformfor which 48 Ordinary National Council of Leaders of the SNTSA were developed.
“The space was opened and we have found great interest from unionized workers throughout the country, so that any option of having some differences, they were settled in the electoral process respecting the majority decision”, in the same way in which they hope that this process occurs, explained the leader of the Federation of Trade Unions of Workers in the Service of the State (FSTSE), Joel Ayala Almeida.
He specified that the National Union of Health Workers, chaired by Marco Antonio García Ayala, in adherence to the legal norm that protects them, which is the federal statute and also the guidelines established by the Federal Court of Conciliation and Arbitration, “has led to held open, transparent elections with great participation of the workers to renew the leadership of the 106 sections that comprise it”.
Interviewed about the role that unions play today in the public life of the country, he mentioned that “we are going to conclude this year with a full exercise of democracy, fundamentally in the calls in accordance with the Labor Law that is in force with the first May 2019, strictly adhered to the will of each worker with the support of direct, secret and personal voting.
