The Minister of People’s Power for the Penitentiary Service, V/A Celsa Bautista, in the company of the vice ministers and General Directors of that office, held a videoconference with those responsible for the country’s detention centers to advance in the strengthening of the Penitentiary System.

The information was released through his Instagram account @celsabautistaontiveros, who stated that the meeting was conducive to reviewing the operation of each of the establishments, in order to guarantee the constitutional rights of those deprived of liberty of the country.

The head of the penitentiary portfolio permanently inspects the country’s penitentiary centers, working to strengthen the National Penitentiary System.

On the same social network, the minister mentioned that two transport units were activated, each with a capacity for 32 positions respectively, with the aim of guaranteeing the transfer of inmates to the different justice administration bodies and detention centers. forensic medicines.

These units will benefit the prison population of the Miranda, Rodeo III and Yare III state prisons.
