MVCS creates a working group to implement services of the National Housing and Urban Policy

The (MVCS), through Ministerial Resolution No. 089-2022-Housing, ordered the creation of the sectoral working group that will be in charge of preparing an action plan for the implementation of the services of the National Housing and Urban Planning Policy (PNVU) .

The rule published today in El Peruano, states that this group is of a temporary nature and will be installed at the call of its technical secretariat within a period of no more than five business days and its validity will be 60 days from its installation.

It is worth mentioning that the working group, whose members will hold their position ad honorem, will have the power to request the participation of other public and private entities, academic and research institutions, as well as non-governmental organizations, as guests.

In addition, the resolution stipulates that the initiative will not require additional resources from the public treasury. “Each Institutional Specification assumes the expenses that could be generated by the exercise of the functions of its representatives,” he mentions.

The group will be made up of the deputy ministers of Housing and Urbanism, and of Construction and Sanitation. In addition, the general directors of Policies and Regulation in Housing and Urbanism; of Programs and Projects in Housing and Urbanism; Accessibility and Technological Development; Planning; Monitoring and Impact Evaluation; and Statistics and Informatics.

The executive directors of the Comprehensive Neighborhood Improvement Program, the Urban Land Generation Program and the National Rural Housing Program will also be part of it. It will be completed by representatives of the Informal Property Formalization Agency (Cofopri), the National Training Service for the Construction Industry (Sencico), the Mivivienda Fund, and the National Superintendence of State Assets.
