FLINTS. – The muralist José Luis Castillo began this Friday the recomposition of the distortion figure of the patrician Juan Pablo Duarte, embodied in a mural in the central park of this border community.
The painter Castillo reported that he volunteered to establish the image of the patrician, also donating the materials.

The complaint expressed by Wilson Gómez, president of the Duartian InstituteDue to the distortion in the figure of Duarte, not only the governor of Pedernales, Miriam Brea, was concerned, but also the director of Culture, Professor Martha Díaz.
Castillo set himself the goal of restoring and repairing the damage that was done to the painting embodied since 2014 in the Pedernales park.
