Mural in honor of Qasem Soleimani inaugurated on January 23

In the 23 de Enero parish, specifically in the El Rincón del Taxista sector, a mural was inaugurated this Tuesday in honor of the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Lieutenant General, Qasem Soleimani.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Venezuela, Hojat Soltani, indicated that “Iran and Venezuela are two revolutionary countries and have always been supporting independence, mutual aid increases strength and consolidates us as nations before the world.”

“In Venezuela, land of heroes, of El Libertador Simón Bolívar, the eternal commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, there is solidarity and with mutual support we will win,” Soltani said.

For his part, the president of the Venezuela-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group, Pedro Infante, said that “Iran has in our Homeland, sisters and brothers for the common fight, where the enemy is the same. Just as they assassinated General Soleimani with drones, they tried to do it with President Nicolás Maduro.”

The mural that honors Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was painted by Nelson Santana, together with the Social Movements of the 23 de Enero parish and the political group of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
