The Ombudsman’s Office reported that during 2021, the municipalities were the institutions most complained about by the user population of the Junín region, according to the Twenty-Fifth Annual Report of the Ombudsman’s Office. January – December 2021, elevated by this entity to the Congress of the Republic.

The report shows that the 10 institutions that presented the most complaints by citizens at the Junín level are headed by the district and provincial municipalities, with a total of 500 complaints, the majority failing to present responses to the briefs presented within a statutory term. Likewise, for the attention given in the different offices.
The second place is occupied by the regional departments of Education, in third place are the medical centers, then the Judiciary (PJ), private companies that provide public services -sanitation-, Public Ministry, Social Security of Health (EsSalud), regional government, police stations and finally Minjus dependencies.

In the region, in the three offices that the Ombudsman has (Huancayo, Satipo and La Merced) a total of 7,522 cases were handled, of which 5,408 were consultations, 263 petitions and 1,851 complaints.
Complaints were registered by various modalities such as face-to-face, virtual, institutional mail, virtual-web form, Facebook, free telephone line 0800, writings and others.
