The Municipal Council of Caracas will discuss 17 municipal ordinances for this 2023, which were approved in the first discussion. This was reported by the president of the Caracas city council, Jimmy Gudiño.
In an interview for the show In the airtransmitted by Venezuelan Television (VTV), Jimmy Gudiño stressed that the new municipal ordinances that will be discussed are based on the reorganization of the city in the economic, productive and citizen coexistence area. For this, they await the approval of the Tax Harmonization Law to advance in the matter.
The official stressed that, during the municipal management of the year 2022, decolonization was promoted, with the rescue of the national symbols of the Venezuelan capital, such as the anthem, the shield and the flag.
In this sense, he recalled that tax collection was also resumed and several social and tourism institutes were created, in order to improve the city.
Finally, he specified that the Caracas city council approved 11 municipal ordinances that helped to recover the public spaces of the city, among other actions that were carried out.
