MP imputes ex-prosecutor for intentional omission of functions

The Public ministry (MP) charged Kenny Suárez, former Superior Assistant Prosecutor of the state of Miranda, with the crime of intentional delay or omission of duties, reported the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab.

In a message posted on his account on the social network Twitter, Saab indicated that it is the citizen Kenny Suarezwho was arrested during a controlled delivery.

He stressed that Suárez “corruptly requested five thousand dollars from a victim in exchange for speeding up proceedings in a municipal prosecutor’s office that was in charge.”

“The National Prosecutor’s Office number 4 charged the aforementioned subject with the crime of Intentional Delay or Omission of Functions,” added the Prosecutor.

Criminal investigation of a police officer

On the other hand, Attorney General Tarek William Saab reported that the Public Ministry initiated a criminal investigation for improper use of a firearm against an unidentified police officer.

The official appears threatening a person with a weapon in a video that the prosecutor attached to another message posted on the social network Twitter.

He added that, for the investigation, prosecutor 126 AMC was commissioned in matters of human rights.
