Six renowned personalities participated in the 5th edition of MOSAICO: Panama, Country of Opportunities, an event organized by the Kol Shearith Israel Congregation. The luxury panel was made up of the first Panamanian neuroscientist, Gabrielle Britton; the president of the City of Knowledge, Jorge Arosemena; the youngest president of the Colón Chamber of Commerce, Michael Chen; the founder of Marea Verde, Mirei Endara de Heras; the archaeologist, Tomás Mendizábal and the multi-instrumentalist artist, Patricia Vlieg.

The exhibitors shared with the public personal and professional reflections on how diversity, multiculturalism, respect and freedom make Panama a great country. “Our mission with Mosaico: Panama, Country of Opportunities, is to create a space that celebrates and promotes the diversity and harmonious coexistence that exists in Panama. History has shown us that openness to different cultures, religions and thoughts makes us a better country,” said Joshua Henríquez, president of the Kol Shearith Israel Congregation.

At the end of their presentations, the exhibitors shared in an interesting exchange of ideas together with the journalist and political scientist, Sabrina Bacal, moderator of the event. The income collected through the activity, which was sponsored by prestigious Panamanian companies, is used in educational and social projects carried out by the Congregation.

Kol Shearith Israel, founded in 1876, is the oldest Jewish congregation in the country and is part of the Panamanian Jewish Congress that also brings together the Isaac Rabin College, the KSI Female Brotherhood, the Noar Youth Movement and the B ́nai B ́rith Lodge, Carlos Zelenka .
