Morochucos race in Huancavelica ended several injured after dangerous maneuver

A traditional Morochucos race in Huancavelica ended in chaos and concern, after a risky maneuver during the competition caused the outrage of several attendees and left a rider, next to his horse, seriously injured.

The incident occurred during a race between two riders identified with the names of “malamado” and “La China”. According to witnesses and show videos spread on social networks, the “China” rider would have made an intentional maneuver to destabilize his opponent, pulling a rope in full race. This action caused “malamado” to lose control of his horse and end up ramming the public who had also invaded the circuit.

The scene generated great shock among the attendees, who immediately helped the injured. Both the affected rider and his horse presented consideration injuries.

In social networks, users and witnesses have expressed their outrage and have requested that the “China” rider be excluded from future competitions. They assure that it is not the first time that it stars unsportsmanlike and dangerous acts: “This is the second time it does the same, it puts everyone at risk,” said a spectator in one of the viralized videos.
