In the second day of vaccination against Covid-19 aimed at children between 5 and 11 years old with disabilities and chronic diseases that took place this Saturday, January 8, at the Omar Recreational and Cultural Park, more than 800 children were inoculated.
“It seems wonderful to me that so many parents have made the decision to vaccinate their children, to take advantage of the fact that Panama is the first country in the region to obtain pediatric doses, together with the Office team and various institutions we have carried out with great success the first two days of this event in Parque Omar, “said the first lady of the Republic to Yazmin Colón de Cortizo.
The first lady led the teams that were distributed both at the Club House, which cared for minors with disabilities, and at the Omar Park Dome, which cared for minors from 5 to 11 years old with chronic diseases and who were given priority in the row.
In car 2191,151 located in the Club House of Parque Omar, children with cerebral palsy and with reduced mobility are cared for.
The pediatric vaccination process in Parque Omar will resume on Tuesday, January 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
