More than 60% of the employees of nursing homes in the City of Buenos Aires and Greater Buenos Aires audited by the AFIP had irregularities in the form of hiring, from not being registered to differences between the dates of entry into employment, the Federal Administration of Public Revenue.

The General Directorate of Social Security Resources (DGRSS) of the AFIP indicated that the agents surveyed a total “of 107 workers who worked in nursing homes” of which “more than 60% showed some irregularity in the form of hiring”.

In a statement, it indicated that “the most common situations found were the lack of registration, under-declaration of income or differences in the dates of entry of workers declared by employers.”

The inspection and control tasks are part of the permanent operations of the DGRSS, headed by Carlos Castagneto, aimed at dismantling labor fraud maneuvers and verifying compliance with obligations related to social security.

These procedures are added to those carried out in recent weeks in gastronomic venues and winter resortswhich made it possible to dismantle abusive maneuvers in the hiring of employees.
