An advance of 83.75% has the National Oncology Network project, which includes patient care clinics in four hospitals in the interior, as announced this Wednesday by the Minister of Health Luis Francisco Sucre, during a tour of the grounds of the new National Oncology Institute , which will be located in Clayton.

Sucre revealed that this new health facility will be built on two globes of land; one of 6.5 hectares and the other of 3.5 hectares, at a cost of $434 million 806 thousand 107 dollars and 59 cents.

The official reported that the tender for the award of the project is in the approval phase. He explained that the work will have two entrances, one through the City of Health and the other through the main road, to avoid congestion and in terms of risk management, it is important that hospital facilities have two entrances and two exits.

According to the project schedule, the new Oncology Hospital must be ready in 549 calendar days once the order to proceed is delivered.

“The objective is to leave the project underway and under construction because it is a work that the Panamanian people demand,” said Sucre.
