The new edition of “Juntos al Teta” brought together more than 350 people who climbed the hill that makes up the Chapelco mountain range, in the province of Neuquén, in order to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
At the top of the hill, almost 2,000 meters high, the participants formed the characteristic pink ribbon that represents the fight against the disease, and that aerial image travels the world.
The ascent route was 2.6 kilometers, from platform 1,600, and people complied with the order to wear pink in their clothing. Once at the summit, they formed the symbol of the fight against this disease.
Among the participants were recovered people, in recovery, and also those who made the climb for a friend or relative who is undergoing treatment.

The president of Nieves del Chapelco SA, Juan Cruz Adrogué, pointed out that “this new summer edition of ‘Juntos Al Teta’ is a total success, with more than 350 people who came from all sides.”
He also stressed that “the effort made by the Chapelco team that organizes, works and helps to achieve it is very important.”
“Once again we are trying to raise awareness of this, which is so important; it is a reminder that once a year you have to do the studies”indicated Adrogue.
As in each edition, the campaign had the Institutional support from the Argentine League for the Fight Against Cancer (Lalcec), and integrates its annual calendar of events.
