Workshops, talks and tours are some of the activities – some virtual, others face-to-face – with which various organizations will celebrate the foundation of Caracas

«Being from Caracas is more than a feeling, although the names (toponymy) and the symbols, identity goes further, that is why we defend the historical heritage of the city». It is the invitation of Yesty which, together with other NGOs and associations, has planned a series of meetings and activities, virtual and face-to-face, to commemorate the 455th anniversary of Caracas, to be held on July 25.
Gastronomic and exhibition tours, workshops, talks and concerts are some of the activities, which will begin this Friday, July 22, and will last until July 29: more than 40 activities, in which more than 30 organizations participate; among them: Uniting Wills, ccs in 365, chacao culture, Diarq7.ve and Cedice Libertad.

Activities Caracas 455
Activities start with the forum Capital Project: Viable proposals for Caracas, in charge of guild platform and to be held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), at 9:30 am.

It is about motivating ourselves and our environment, supporting any initiative that connects us with the good that is being done: that is the best gift for Caracas on its 455th anniversary,” says Síudad, organizer of the program.
About the City
SÍudad is an association that seeks to be an engine of ideas and actions that allow generating the necessary changes in the cities of Venezuela, and that inspire deep reflection by citizens for citizens about the future of the country.
They aim to articulate encounters between the knowledge of the academy, private initiatives, the organization of unions and the will of NGOs, to generate low-investment and high-impact proposals, and thus build the transformation required from citizens, promoting a change of management model, from bottom to top.
