More than 22,000 people have found work since the promulgation of the Labor Inclusion Law

The report “Evolution of Law 21,015”, carried out by Fundación Con Trabajo, evaluated the levels of effectiveness of the regulation, which promotes the hiring of people with disabilities.

In this sense, it was concluded that as of December of last year, a total of 22,877 workers with current labor relations were registered. This, out of a universe of 55,143 potential places for people with disabilities, which translates into 38.2%.

In the same way, the rate of compliance with the regulations reached 39.5% over a universe of 1,526 companies that are obliged to comply with the labor inclusion quota.

The study highlights that, despite the fact that there has been an increase in employment contracts for people with disabilities, the number of completed contracts has also increased at a faster rate.

These in 2019 reached 14.6%; in 2020, 22.8% and in 2021 about 35.9%.
