The approach of a tropical wave combined with the effects of a trough will cause moderate downpours, heavy at times, with thunderstorms and isolated gusts of wind towards the northeast, southeast, southwest regions, the Central mountain range and border towns.
This was predicted yesterday by the National Meteorology Office (Onamet)who also said that temperatures are still hot, due to the time of year.
Meteorology recommends good hydration, wearing light clothing, light colors and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun from 11:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon.
For Greater Santo Domingo, the agency forecasts cloudy skies and moderate downpours.
The maximum temperature will be 32°C and 35°C and the minimum 23°C and 25°C.
