After a report from the Comptroller General of the Republic pointed out that the Mivivienda Fund (FMV) lost S/41’089,762 for not executing the expired guarantees for the delivery of Family Housing Bonds (BFH) of the Techo Propio Program, the FMV rejected this version.
“The information is not correct, since by identifying the events that occurred, the actions were adopted that have made it possible to ensure that the purpose of the BFH is fulfilled,” he said in a statement.
In this sense, he affirmed that the purpose of the bonds has been fulfilled through the accreditation of the construction and delivery of the homes to the beneficiary families, the renewal of the guarantees and “the recovery of the guarantees in the corresponding cases”. .
Regarding the guarantees (mandatory accessory) of the disbursements of the BFH constituted by letters of guarantee, they have been reduced by the FMV as follows: S/1.1 million were recovered for collection; and “guarantees were renewed and released with the accreditation of the construction and delivery of the homes for a total of S/ 38.5 million.”
Regarding those that are pending payment, the FMV indicated that it is managing the corresponding actions in order to recover the remaining amounts.
It should be noted that the Comptroller’s Office has also determined the alleged civil and administrative responsibility of 10 officials and former officials of the Fund.
