Mitradel carries out inspections of companies to verify that they comply with Law 15

The companies that last year were detected with anomalies in terms of the equalization of employment opportunities for people with disabilities were inspected today by the National Directorate of Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (Mitradel), to verify that as of today are complying with the provisions of Law 15 of May 31, 2016.

The Mitradel employment director, Alfredo Mitre, explained that they began with the re-inspection of the companies that found anomalies in the inspections carried out at the end of October and the beginning of November 2021.

“We still do not have fines that have been imposed on companies, but we are already in that process and we do not want this year to happen and we find companies that we had to fine,” he said, stating that the goal is not to impose sanctions but for companies to recognize the responsibility they have for equality and that together with the Mitradel seek new and better job opportunities for people with disabilities.
