The Ribas Mission and the Popular University for the Environment (UPA), agreed to give admission to the university academic system to 3,000 high school graduates from the Mission who enter the formal higher education system, in order to strengthen educational policies on agricultural production .

The rector of the UPA, Professor Juan Manuel Parra, stressed that the graduates of the Mission will be able to enter the Agrifood Training Program, where they will be recognized for the knowledge acquired during the previous stage, entering the academic system, with university credit units. in the aforementioned race.

On the other hand, the president of the Ribas Mission, Professor Luis Laya, stressed that these students are men and women capable of raising agricultural production in the main axes of the nation.

The Knowledge Manager of the Training and Innovation Foundation to Support the Agrarian Revolution, Yoger Leal, congratulated the entities for the agreement made, and stated that such action deepens the consolidation of secondary technical and university education in the country.
