The National Platform of Mipymes Unions (micro, small and medium-sized companies), of the National Society of Industries (SNI) called for the approval of the advance of elections with political reforms.
“We call on all political forces to think first of Peru and approve early elections, including the necessary political reforms,” they said in a statement.
The MSMEs assured that they have been hit by the stoppages “and the attacks that have been taking place for several days,” and stated that this puts the end-of-year campaign at risk, which they saw as an opportunity “to save economic activity of millions of micro and small entrepreneurs”.

“Unfortunately, commercial emporiums such as Gamarra, Las Malvinas, Mesa Redonda and others are not receiving the same number of clients as in previous years due to fear of attacks on businesses,” they added.
To these establishments, they specified that there are markets, shopping centers, factories, tourist centers, warehouses and small businesses that are forced to close or limit their activities due to the risk.
“Peru needs us all to work together for a better future for the country; For this, it is important to recover jobs and opportunities for social and economic development, which were relegated by the health crisis, current economic and political crisis, “they highlighted.
