Minsal reports 970 cases of covid-19, seven deaths and a positivity of 2.09%

The Ministry of Health reported this Tuesday 970 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, seven people died and a positivity of 2.09% nationwide.

Of the total of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, 690 present symptoms, 206 are asymptomatic and 74 were not notified.

With this update, the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 1,785,124, while the deaths are 38,723. Those recovered are 1,732,601 and assets 8,674.

Regarding the hospital network, the Minsal detailed that there are 675 hospitalized people, of which 577 are on mechanical ventilation. There are 2,059 critical beds enabled, of which 197 are available.
