With the purpose of prioritizing strategic areas and lines of action for the Panama and Spain Cooperation Agreement 2025-2029, the Ministry of Health participated in a technical work table that was developed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This activity was attended by various representatives of the Spanish Development Cooperation Office in Panama.
Alejandro Arce, director of the Potable Water and Sanitary Sewerage of Minsa indicated that this work table is of great importance for the institution for the various challenges and the national government has set out to execute various projects in the field of strengthening to access to drinking water .
“We hope to benefit and impact through international technical cooperation the regional, rural and difficult access areas,” said the engineer Arce.

He stressed that health is within the components of access to basic services and there are several interventions both in the Ngäbe Buglé region and in the province of Darién, strengthening the institutional work that the Ministry of Health undertakes in the country.
