Minister Siches breaks the silence and assures that the cabinet is committed to dialogue and not to "petty politics"

The Minister of the Interior, Izkia Sichesreappeared this afternoon before the media after last Wednesday he accused that, in the second Government of Sebastian Pinera, a plane with expelled foreigners had returned to the country with all its passengers. Siches later clarified that this assertion was wrong.

“We identified that one of the planes of the expulsions that were made to Venezuela, returned with the same people, and we had no idea. With all the passengers expelled!” Said the head of the Interior last Wednesday, in the Commission of Citizen Security of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies.

In the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies, prior to presenting before the Internal Government Commission for the Executive’s plan on matters related to violence in the south and the crisis in the north, Siches stated that “I feel part of a team who is very available to continue working, deepening and reinforcing those areas that require addressing”.

And we hope, in that sense, to continue working along these lines”, added the minister, who was accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, and the head of the Subdere, Miguel Crispi.

When asked about her statements last Wednesday, she expressed that “this is a process that is currently under investigation, for the same reason, I will not refer to further details in this regard, until that process is concluded,” said the secretary of Condition.

“I am not going to refer to details of an ongoing investigation process,” he emphasized.
