The Minister of Justice, Felix Cherostated that during the meeting held by the President of the Republic, peter castlewith a group of congressmen in the Legislative Palace, this Tuesday afternoon, served to reach important agreements that mark a consensus between both powers of the State and that will serve to satisfy the demands of the citizens in the face of the protests.
“There are important agreements that mark the line of consensus between the Executive and the Legislative. A whole package of bills has been established that the Executive is presenting to be able to resolve the agreements adopted with the transporters’ and farmers’ unions”, he maintained in dialogue with TV Peru.

“We hope that in the next few hours the Congress, in this predisposition to solve the country’s problems, can approve it and give peace of mind to our population.”, he added.
In that sense, Chero slipped the possibility of convening an extraordinary plenary session to discuss these initiatives as soon as possible and thus find a solution to social conflicts.
Lifting of the curfew
