OpnX, the open innovation program, launches XPASS a call that will select the 150 best Paraguayan startups, which will receive access, free of charge, to different benefits and opportunities for their ventures.

Its objective is to prepare startups, to strengthen them and increase their possibilities for growth and scalability, as well as to position them in the national and international market and link entrepreneurs with potential investors, businesses with corporations and international accelerators.

Xpass is a comprehensive program, which will be carried out through a strategic alliance with Platzi, the most important digital training platform for startups in Latin America. It will also offer exclusive activities for startups, which will allow entrepreneurs to develop skills, competencies and acquire knowledge so that their startups mature in the following stages. It has the support of Banco Regional as the official sponsor of the program and the partners Cibersons and AWS.

The program will have a learning path, free of charge, lasting 3 months, in which the selected startups will receive virtual classes, live sessions and online workshops taught by a network of CEOs, CFOs and international startup leaders. Participants will learn about sales, methodologies to focus their growth, internationalization, tactics to raise funds, investor relations management, team building and culture for startups, among other topics. They will also have access to 700 hours of courses for 12 months on various topics, such as programming, English, digital economy: cryptocurrencies, Artificial Intelligence, “no code” among others, and credits worth $5,000 in products from AWS.

The selected startups will participate in exclusive business roundtables with corporations and investors, organized by OpnX.

The selected ventures will experience the opportunity to train to grow and scale their businesses through an online and face-to-face program, prepare for business with corporations, meet with investors and apply to international accelerators.

Participants will also have access to other benefits such as support and training to apply to accelerators such as Y Combinator, 500 startups, among others. They will access benefits from Platzi technology partners such as AWS, Hubspot, Jeeves, Miro, Notion, Stripe Atlas, Slack, among others.

“From OpnX we see that the synergy between corporations and startups is an important catalyst for the development of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. This is why we created XPASS, a program of opportunities and benefits aimed at startups in Paraguay that seek to strengthen and grow their business, linking with corporations, investors, and international accelerators. Xpass gives them access to the tools and connections they need to grow and take their startup to the next level. In that sense, we partnered with Platzi, a successful platform with training programs in Spanish, being themselves a highly successful startup and a Latin American edtech benchmark in the world” commented Carolina Luzardi Coordinator of OpnX Paraguay”.
