The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency (Segpres), Giorgio Jackson, unexpectedly traveled to the Bío Bío region to hold a meeting with workers and entrepreneurs from the Talcahuano commune.
As reported Radio Bio Bioit is a visit that was coordinated by the Bío Bío Presidential Delegation that was not reported to the press.
At the meeting, Minister Jackson met with leaders of the CAP union within the framework of the campaign of the Government of President Gabriel Boric, “Chile Votes Informed” ahead of the exit plebiscite on September 4.
Around nightfall, the Secretary of State arrived at the Community Development Directorate (Dideco) of the Municipality of Talcahuano, in order to talk with local entrepreneurs regarding the Executive’s Chile Supports plan.
The mayor of Talcahuano, Henry Campos, the Minister of Economy, José Sepúlveda, the presidential delegate, Daniela Dresdner, and the director of Corfo Bío Bío, Roberta Lama, also participated in the meeting.
It is expected that during this coming Friday, the head of Segpres will hold other meetings in the Chiguayante commune, as reported by the Ministry.
