Millonarios FC was once again the protagonist in the Betplay League; after qualifying for the Cup semi-finals in the middle of the week, this Saturday received Jaguares de Córdoba for the eighth date and signed a 2-0 in his favor which has it as the best team in the competition.
The locals knew that they arrived as favorites to the duel, and from the beginning they imposed conditions, sometimes reaching the goal of the Felines, and getting the first score at 15 minutes of the initial part intermediate of David Macalister Silva.
Subsequently, a procedural duel was presented, in which the visit did not generate major scoring chancesshowing one of the poorest performances so far in the contest, and seeing in his goalkeeper Jorge Soto one of those responsible for the disadvantage not being greater.
The duel reached the end of the first stage, and it was expected that in the second, Millionaires will accelerate more given that the goal difference can be key for qualification to the semifinal home runs or in the reclassification table.
Thus, nine minutes into the second half, an error was made precisely by Soto -Jaguares goalkeeper-, which ended in an own goal and making it 2-0 which in turn would be definitive in favor of the Blues.
Improving his performance, but without seeing major advances in the generation of play by his team, the visiting goalkeeper became one of the figures avoiding a win by the Blues, since the match it finished 2-0 for Millonarios.
