The Ministry of Social Development (MIDES) wishes to clarify to citizens that the information accompanying a photo of some people in a warehouse, which circulates on social networks, is false.
This photo corresponds to the transfer of basic necessities and social aid to the Ngäbe Buglé Region and the Provincial Directorate of Chiriquí, for what will be the beginning of the second payment of 2024 of the Conditional Monetary Transfer Programs (PTMC).
This second payment of 2024 of the PTMC begins this Monday, May 20 in areas with difficult access.
It has been MIDES policy to deliver social aid to beneficiaries in distant and vulnerable areas, affected by poverty and extreme poverty, and in emergency situations, as well as deliveries of social aid and basic necessities. within the framework of CCT payments.
