Bolivian Miguel Terceros is a member of the Santos delegation, from Brazil, that in the last few hours he arrived in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The Brazilian team will face Blooming on April 4 (20:30) for the first date of Group E, of the Copa Sudamericana.
“At home Miguel Terceros”, posted the Brazilian club on their social networks. The message is accompanied by a short video of the 18-year-old from Santa Cruz, going to the bus that took the campus to a hotel in the capital.
The delegation will rest on Bolivian soil and tomorrow will complete a light practice and will reconnoitre the playing field, before facing the sky-blue team, led by Carlos Bustos.
Third parties will be an interesting alternative to the technical director of Santos, Odair Hellmann, that counts in the middle sector with Lucas Lima and Rodrigo Fernández, who are the ones who pull the strings in the middle sector of the black and white team.
Santos and Blooming make up Group E. Also in this series are Newell’s Old Boys, from Argentina and Audax Italiano, from Chile.
The attacker published a video next to the Bolivia 2022 account, indicating that he feels “Very happy to be in your land, and train at his soccer home”. Santos and ‘Miguelito’ will have a practice session at the club complex where they had their stage prior to ‘Peixe’.
The group stage of the South American will be played from April 4 to June 29 and only the winners of each series will advance directly to the round of 16.
Meanwhile, the second in each of the eight groups will play a round of playoffs (roundtrip) against the third parties of each group stage of the Libertadores, to complete the qualifiers for the round of 16, whose crosses will be decided by draw. The final will be played on October 28 in a single match in Montevideo.
