The Mexican state of Chihuahua, bordering the United States, announced that starting this Monday in 224 medical units and clinics began the application of 17,520 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to children between 5 and 11 years of age. According to the state vaccination coordinator, Hugo Elí Lechuga Barrera, the priority is to “immunize children who turn five this year” and those who do not have their scheme complete.
Lettuce Barrera stressed that 7,335 doses of this immune system have been applied in the state, of which 4,634 were placed in Ciudad Juárez in previous months. These vaccines would be part of the donation of 516,000 doses that the Government of South Korea delivered to Mexico in August of last year.
