SANTO DOMINGO.- The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) forecast for this Friday scattered rains, due to the effects of the northeast wind that continues to bring cloudiness in combination with a prefrontal trough.
During the day and hours of the night, these precipitations will continue, which will be moderate to heavy at times.
For tomorrow a trough will be approaching the country, adding its effects to the transport of cloudiness by the wind that will give rise to occasional clouds and scattered rains in the morning concentrated mainly in towns on the Atlantic coast, while in the afternoon there will be downpours with thunderstorms and possible gusts of wind in towns in the north, northeast, southeast, central mountain range and Cibao valley.
Temperatures will continue to be pleasant overnight into the early hours of the day due to the time of year and also due to the north-easterly wind blowing over the country.
