Menchaca celebrates triumph; Viggiano warns fight in court
The candidate from Juntos Harenos Historia celebrated the results of the PREP that point to him as the virtual winner in Hidalgo and began by declaring himself an ally of the president.
“President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is going to have an ally as governor of Hidalgo,” Menchaca said at a rally in Plaza Juárez.
“There are many challenges that you and we are aware of: eradicate poverty, have security,” he commented.
For her part, the candidate for Va por Hidalgo acknowledged that the voting trends do not favor her, but she warned that instead of accepting the results, she will fight in court.
“So far the trends are not in my favor and we are going to wait for the official results to go to court.
“It must be said loud and clear, in this election we had a blatant interference from the federal government. The project of the morenista candidate was no better than ours, he hid behind marketing and the shadow of his protector, ”he said in a video shared on Twitter.
To the men and women of Hidalgo I reiterate my gratitude, but above all my commitment.

Viggiano accused the Morena candidate and his party, as well as the federal government, of the factious use of social programs as well as buying votes to make Menchaca’s victory possible.
