The leader and member of the Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party, Melanio Paredes, assured this Friday that former Vice President Margarita Cedeño is the best positioned of the presidential candidates for the purple organization.
“In all the polls, Margarita comes out as the best positioned among the candidates. Since 2012, Margarita has always been ranked as one of the highest valued and sympathetic politicians for her vocation for service and closeness as Dominicans, ”she indicated during an interview on the Despierta con CDN program.
He argued that the organizations cannot wait for the year to end without carrying out the necessary reforms so that the Central Electoral Board has the conditions to hold the 2024 elections.
He specified that according to political marketing, for a candidate to win the elections he has to be known by 60 percent of the population.
“Between the good, the safe is better and Margarita Cedeño is the safe,” he emphasized.
Previously, other members of the Political Committee have publicly announced their support for Cedeño’s aspirations. Among these figures, the brothers Simón and Cristina Lizardo, Jaime David Fernández Mirabal and Armando García stand out.
