MEF appoints Carolina Trivelli as a member of the Fiscal Council

The (MEF) appointed Carolina Trivelli as a member of the Fiscal Council (CF) for a period of four years.

The former Minister of Development and Social Inclusion has a master’s degree in Agrarian Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and an economist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Sight: They seek to promote employment among young people up to 29 years of age

She currently works as a principal investigator at the Institute of Economic Studies (IEP) and has been an advisor in Strategic Analysis of the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The MEF highlighted the incorporation of Trivelli and noted that what is sought is to strengthen the autonomy of the Fiscal Council.

He also recently appointed Alonso Segura and José Valderrama-León as part of the CF.
