The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof; the president of the provincial PJ and national deputy, Máximo Kirchner; Ministers and mayors met today in La Plata, hours before the Buenos Aires Peronism meeting to be held in the city of Merlo, which will be attended by the Ministers of the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro; and of Economy, Sergio Massa.
The meeting at the Government House in La Plata was also attended by the Chief of Staff, Martín Insaurralde; the Minister of Government, Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez; the head of the Treasury, Pablo López; his partner from Community Development, Andrés Larroque; the communal chiefs Federico Achával (Pilar), Jorge Ferraresi (Avellaneda), Juan Andreotti (San Fernando), Mario Secco (Ensenada), Carlos Ramil (Escobar), the Buenos Aires deputy Mariano Cascallares and the president of the Province Group, Gustavo Menéndez.
As explained in a statement, this meeting is part of the round of meetings that have been taking place since 2022 and topics such as “the continuity of the execution of the budget approved by the Legislature, the infrastructure plan carried out by the provincial government and the works that the municipalities of Buenos Aires have in progress, taking into account the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice that directly impacts the financing of all Argentine provinces“.

It was indicated that the educational and health transformation programs that are part of the priorities established for 2023 were also analyzed.
“The concern for the implications of the arbitrary ruling (of the Supreme Court in favor of the city of Buenos Aires on co-participation) requires a detailed monitoring of each area with the firm purpose of preventing the people of Buenos Aires from paying the consequences of the decision policy of the Court to solve the electoral campaign of the opposition”, was highlighted in the communiqué.
Meanwhile, in the city of Merlo, west of the Buenos Aires suburbs, 19 officials, provincial Justicialista leadership and mayors of the First and Third electoral sections (North/West and South of Greater Buenos Aires, respectively) will meet.
The conclave will take place in the fifth La Colonial of that city, with entrance on Constitución avenue, a stage that is usually used for political meetings and that on this occasion will be the platform chosen by Buenos Aires Peronism to “show unity at the beginning of the year electoral”, indicated spokesmen of the sector.

In the meeting in Merlo, leaders of the Frente Renovador de Massa will also participate; of Nuevo Encuentro, of Martín Sabbatella, and of the Frente Grande, which in the province of Buenos Aires is led by the mayor of Ensenada, Mario Secco.
