To say goodbye to the year, the Municipality of Canelones organized a working lunch at the Bracco Bosca winery, organized by the Investment Promotion Agency and the Secretary of International Relations and Open Government of the Government of Canelones.
As reported by the Canary Islands Administration, the activity was carried out with the objective of “planning and deepening actions for next year in the areas of trade, investment, productive development, human rights, cultural exchanges and cooperation projects that are intended to generate work, opportunities and improve the quality of life of the people who inhabit the territory”.
With this activity, the Municipality of Canelones seeks to strengthen links as part of “the internationalization strategy at the institutional level and in support of the productive sectors that Canelones defined at the beginning of this administration.” Within this framework, Mayor Orsi highlighted “the importance of subnational governments having specialized teams in international relations, cooperation and investment promotion.”
The working meeting was attended by, among others, representatives of Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Portugal, the Dominican Republic, the United Kingdom, European Union and OAS.
