Facts

The events occurred on August 4, 2018 on Bolívar Avenue in Caracas where the 81st anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard was being celebrated. At the end of the event, when the Head of State was giving a speech, explosive charges attached to two unmanned aircraft were detonated.

The President continued with his intervention while the televised transmission was interrupted. At night, Maduro appeared before the media and reported that it was an attack against him planned from Colombia.

As the investigations progressed, a conversation was detected between Osman Tabosky, based in the United States, and part of the team of young people who would activate the drones where they received instructions. “Cold blood,” Tabosky was heard to say, listed as one of the financiers of the drone operation and who owns property in Valencia (Carabobo).

Precisely the Marrufo-Delgado couple was arrested in the capital of Carabobo.
