The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, received the Ambassador of the Republic of India, Dinesh Bhatia, on Tuesday to review the bilateral economic and trade agenda with the aim of expanding the Argentine exportable supply to the Asian giant.

“We met with the Indian ambassador, Dinesh Bhatia, with the aim of increasing national exports, opening Argentina to the Indian pharmaceutical industry and promoting productive investments in sectors such as information technology, automotive and agribusiness”Massa pointed out through his Twitter account.

Also, the minister stressed that the “bilateral economic relationship grew to make India our fourth trading partner and an important destination for our exports, such as in agribusiness, agriculture, biotechnology and the installation of an INVAP plant for medical use in Mumbai”.

“The proposal of the Indian oil company Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited to develop areas together with YPF in Vaca Muerta and the increase in exports of Argentine proteins such as oils, pellets and beans, will create jobs in our country and attract the foreign exchange that we need”, concluded Massa.
