Find out who are the candidates for governor of Sergipe

The Electoral Justice received at least 28,000 candidacy registrations for the October elections. The campaign officially started on Tuesday (16).Find out who are the candidates for governor of Sergipe

Twelve applications for the presidency and 12 for vice president were received; 223 for governor and vice-governor, 231 for senator, 10,238 for federal deputy, 16,161 for state deputy and 591 for district deputy.

In Sergipe, nine candidates are running for office. Check full list:

Delegate Alessandro (PSDB): Alessandro Vieira, 47 years old, graduated in law, served as a delegate of the Civil Police of Sergipe. In 2018, he was elected senator for the Sustainability Network. The deputy will be businessman Milton Andrade (Citizenship), 34 years old.

Dr. Antônio Claudio Geriatra (Christian Democracy): Physician Antonio Claudio Santos das Neves, 54 years old, born in Jequié (BA), is president of the Association of Friends of the Elderly in Brazil. He has also been Health Secretary of the Sergipe municipalities of Itabaiana and Macambira. This is the first time he has run for public office. The deputy on the ticket is businesswoman Giovanna Pereira Rocha (DC), 38 years old.

Elinos Sabino (PSTU): federal civil servant, Elinos Sabino dos Santos, 58 years old, is running for his first election. Born in São Carlos (SP), he has been a salesman, rural worker and teacher. For vice, the party announced the name of the operator Leide Lima, 41 years old.

Fabio (PSD): Fábio Cruz Mitidieri, 45, is a federal deputy for two terms and has also been a councilor in Aracaju. Born in the capital of Sergipe, he holds a degree in administration and has already held the positions of municipal secretary of sports and state of work. For vice, the party announced the name of businessman Zezinho Sobral (PDT), 57 years old.

Jorge Alberto (PROS): retired military officer Jorge Alberto Teles Prado, 69, is running for governor for the first time. Jorge Alberto was once a candidate for mayor of Aracaju and ran for a federal deputy. The candidate for vice is the administrator Renato Lima de Araújo, 69 years old.

Niully Campos (PSOL): professor of criminal law and criminal lawyer, Niully, 34, is an activist in defense of women’s rights. Born in Capela (SE), she will run in her first election for the state government. For vice, the party announced the name Demétrio Varjão (PSOL).

Prof. Aroldo Félix (UP): Félix, 39 years old, is a university professor, chemical engineer, master and doctor in chemical engineering. Founder and member of the State Directory of the Popular Unity for Socialism, he was born in João Pessoa. For vice, the party announced the name of housewife Luze Augusta dos Santos (UP), 37 years old.

Rogerio Carvalho (PT): Physician and professor, Carvalho, 54 years old, has worked as Secretary of Health of Aracaju, State and Federal Deputy, Secretary of Health of the State of Sergipe. Born in Lagarto (SE), he is currently a senator and will contest his first election for the state government. Entrepreneur Sérgio Gama (MDB), 48 years old, will be the deputy on the ticket.

Valmir Francisquinho (PL): Valmir dos Santos Costa, 53 years old, is a former councilor and former mayor of the city of Itabaiana. Francisquinho is a businessman and will run in his first election for the state government. Born in Itabaiana, he was a councilor for five terms and mayor of the municipality twice. For vice, the party announced the name of the lawyer Emília Correia (Patriota), 60 years old.
