The economic development proposal for companies and communities called “Traffic Light” created by Martín Burt has caught the attention of the business community of the city of São Paulo and surroundings, in an event called to publicize the tool created by Burt that is being implemented today in 48 countries, where representatives of more than 250 companies will participate.
Burt’s “Traffic Light” was born as a tool for the development of vulnerable communities and more than 10 years ago they have also developed their expertise in developing “Companies without poverty”, a model that seeks to improve the quality of life of workers within them. and the value chain that feeds it. This tool has been internationally recognized on several occasions by different organizations such as the United Nations, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Skoll Foundation, and the Andean Development Cooperation, among others.
The person who called the event was Gigi Cavalieri, president for Latin America of the International Christian Union of Business Executives (UNIAPAC), an ecumenical organization for Christian businessmen with a presence throughout the world.
The name of the event that began on August 16, 2022 in the city of Sao Paulo is called “Company without poverty” in honor of the program created by Burt and presenting him as the main speaker. Successful cases already applied in Brazil with the Banco da Familia and cases from other countries will be presented.
“We are very happy to have been invited by the Brazilian business community to talk about the economic development proposal that we have for their companies and their communities. We have been working in this country for several years and we want to continue expanding so that we can also bring closer the ties of the business community of this country to Paraguay with the opportunities that this can bring to our people,” said Burt.
