Martín Burt, pre-candidate for the presidency of the Republic for the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA), presented to actors from all the country’s productive sectors his government proposals aimed at building a country vision.
The presentation was developed together with his work team that includes technicians, specialists from various areas, civil society, and families with whom they have deepened, over 15 months, a roadmap with emphasis on actions aimed at economic and social development of the country.
“We have suffered two years of pandemic, two years of drought, of lack of work, the salary is not enough for most Paraguayan families and that is why I am running for president because I know that we not only deserve something much better, we are able to achieve it”, said Martin Burt.
Burt explained that the project he leads proposes a vision of a different Paraguay, built with the efforts of all, based on 10 priorities, 100 proposals and 1000 actions for the development of Paraguay with an agenda of solutions to achieve it.
“This government program is not a construction in a cabinet, on a desk, behind a computer, because we know that any initiative that is not collective construction, that is not participatory construction, is not going to be successful. Here the leaders of the 4000 settlements have to participate with the executives of the shipping companies; the construction industries with the ñandutí weavers; peasant family farming, side by side with modern agriculture,” he indicated.
