Miami, October 17 (Notistarz). – Singers Marco Antonio Solis, Sebastián Yatra, Rauw Alejandro, Chiquis and Jesse & Joy are the first artists confirmed to perform at the Latin Grammy ceremony, the Latin Academy of Recording and Arts (LARAS) announced today.
The Mexican Marco Antonio Solís, composer, arranger, music producer and artistic director has won five Latin Grammys, and has been nominated for six Grammys, in addition to being the 2022 LARAS Person of the Year.
While Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, who was nominated for Best New Artist in 2020, has a total of eight nominations for this year’s awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
For his part, Colombian Sebastián Yatra, previously nominated for a Grammy and nominated nine times for a Latin Grammy, this time competes in the categories: Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
The Mexican brothers of Jesse & Joy, winners of the Grammy and six Latin Grammys, are nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album; and Chiquis, daughter of the late Latin Grammy-winning singer Jenni Rivera, is nominated for Best Ranchera/Mariachi Music Album.
The 23rd edition of the Latin Grammy will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
The Premiere, where the winners of most of the categories are announced, will be before the broadcast on Univisión’s Latin network.
