Cristiano Ronaldo returned to play with Manchester United and his return was not without controversy. The Portuguese played the first 45 minutes of the match against Rayo Vallecano, on Sunday, being substituted at the break, but he didn’t stay at Old Trafford and left before the match ended.
The reason would be to try to avoid the media, they were anxious to know what will happen to their future.
Until now no one had spoken about what happened over the weekend, but this Wednesday they have transpired some statements from his coach, Erik Ten Hag, in the Dutch medium Viaplay Sport Nederland in which he disapproves of the Portuguese’s attitude.
Apparently CR7 wasn’t the only one, so Ten Hag says “more players did that. I don’t accept it. Absolutely not. That is unacceptable. We’re a team, we are a template. You have to stay until the end.” / Sports World
