Major fire affects Alalay lagoon

A new fire of magnitude affects Cochabamba, this time the fire damages the reeds of the southeastern sector of the Alalay lagoon, according to the report of volunteer fire brigades.

The flames consume the vegetation, but also cause the animals that live in the sector to escape the fire towards the surrounding roads, according to volunteers.
