The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Saturday that the Somos Venezuela Movement represents “the new era that leads us to the transition to socialism, in a different stage than the one that was proposed in the years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 , 2010, 2012, 2014«.
“It’s another time, when the oil boom, when we produced and sold 3 million barrels of oil daily, at a price greater than 100 dollars a barrel.”
“Venezuela is recovering, it is on its feet. We are heading for a new prosperity as a result of their own effort, work, understanding«, he said when greeting by telephone the First National Meeting of Activists of the Somos Venezuela Movement (MSV), which takes place this Saturday in the open spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater , in Caracas.
He stressed that there are many things that need to be revolutionized to twist the arm of bureaucratism.
«You have to twist the arm of corruption, twist the arm of those who believe that they can use the power given to them, large or small, to take advantage of private interests. Everything that has to be revolutionized must be revolutionized,” said the Head of State.
He highlighted the renovating, innovative and unprecedented scheme of the Somos Venezuela Movement to organize itself. “It’s a powerful movement that itches and extends forward, into the future,” he noted.
In this sense, he said that the 3R.NETS are very important, applied specifically to reality, to each sector, to each territory, to each community. «The 3R.NETS are opening the new era to Socialism and the Somos Venezuela Movement is a faithful expression of the new era».
They plan attacks and sabotage from Bogotá

“The Government of Iván Duque intends in recent days to intensify its attacks against Venezuela. They received the order from Iván Duque that, before he leaves the presidency on August 7, they deepen the terrorist attacks and the sabotage of social life and public services”, said the Head of State, while highlighting “Let no one come to sabotage the process of recovery and growth of the economy, let’s take care of the stability and security of Venezuela.”
He warned that he was aware that recently “they held a meeting of right-wing extremists in Bogotá, and received the order from Iván Duque, before he leaves the presidency on August 7, to deepen the terrorist attacks and the sabotage of life social and public services of Venezuela«.
