The ruler Nicolás Maduro said this Friday, August 5, that, four years ago, from Colombia, the attempted assassination against him was forged. He once again held the leader responsible Julius Borges (First Justice) of the alleged conspiracy

“Julio Borges is responsible for the death of a child in Venezuela and also participates in the assassination attempt against us,” he assured.

On August 4, the president of the National Assembly (AN) of 2020, Jorge Rodríguez, demanded the Colombian government hand over Julio Borges, «intellectual author of the assassination attempt against the head of state, Nicolás Maduro; the first combatant, Cilia Flores; the military high command and other members of the Public Power».

This Friday, Maduro recalled that the court in the case had already handed down the sentence, in which Juan Requesens, deputy of the National Assembly (AN) of 2015 and 16 other people. He said that the court issued its opinion «on the material authors and part of the intellectual authors».

“They wanted to kill the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, that day I remember clearly, but his hand, the hand of God, la Chinita put his hand and with his blessings he saved our lives because I have to fulfill functions and I must do it fully with the town,” he said.

The president, during the broadcast, recounted his experiences on August 4, 2018, on Bolívar Avenue in Caracas where the anniversary of the National Guard (GN) was celebrated. “When the bomb exploded I could feel the impact and I thought it had been rockets from the activity, that’s why in fractions of seconds when the impact was made, those from the military house covered me,” he said.

In Maduro’s version, the second drone had problems, during the attack against him, “it crashed into a building and destroyed an apartment on Bolívar Avenue, it was the second to finish off the assassination work.”

This Friday, from Ezequiel Zamora Park, Maduro presented the balance of the 1×10 System of Good Government and the Military Community Brigades (Bricomiles) for Education and Health. Accompanied by the Minister of Water, Rodolfo Márquez Torres, and the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Teresa Melendezthe president connected with several of the governors.

Maduro reported that through the 1×10 of Good Government and the VenApp, 109,045 reports have been received, 36,750 of which are related to water and 17,482 (58%) have been addressed. “We have to raise it until we reach 100%,” he ordered.

According to Maduro, by December 31 of this year, there should be 95% water coverage in the country’s homes.

“I am giving you the general order Marco Torres and you comply with it,” he instructed.

He announced the recovery of the “El Calvario” drinking water distribution tank which, he said, will benefit various sectors of Caracas such as Santa Rosalía, San Juan, 23 de Enero, Altagracia and Catedral.

Likewise, the ruler insisted that the needs of the people must be listened to. “A revolutionary government exists to go looking for problems and solve them together with the people, based on dialogue, work, union and permanent love for our people,” he asserted. He also urged the governors to be vigilant in guaranteeing the well-being of the regions.

According to Maduro, “the blockade and the sanctions affected us and an accumulation of deficiencies was made because they do not sell us in the world the spare parts for the hydrological system.”

He also announced that the new phase of the 1×10 of the Good Government will incorporate gas, electricity and telecommunications services into the priorities “To improve our beloved homeland, we are heading towards a prosperous Homeland, towards Living Living”, he urged.

On the other hand, it was known that 25,045 Bricomiles have been formed in the educational sector, according to information from the Minister of Education, Yelitza Santaella. The official said that, by the start of classes, the more than 7,000 schools that have been reported through the VenApp application should be rehabilitated.
