The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Saturday that he remains in charge of the presidency of the Republic of Venezuela thanks to the strength of the people.
In the speech on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of February 4, the Head of State recalled how after Commander Chávez entrusted him with the direction of the town, various sectors, inside and outside the country, indicated that he would not remain in charge.
In this sense, he affirmed “I am here because he left me, and I am here for the strength of the people.”
